Syrup provides the natural flavour
Holderhof is the most important syrup producer in Switzerland. The main flavours are raspberries and elderflower. The sugar makes the syrup durable. With the chosen dilution factor, you choose the degree of sweetness in the beverage yourself.

From milk to elderberry
At the Holderhof in Ufhofen, senior boss Bruno Schenk looks after the 1600 or so elderberry trees. The blossoms from this year’s campaign have been harvested and processed into extract. Now he hopes that the cherry vinegar flies will not attack the berries and that he will be able to harvest them in late summer.
Applesauce made in and for Switzerland
Since this spring, Holderhof Produkte AG has also been producing applesauce at its fruit processing centre in Sulgen. This is intended to further strengthen the Swiss location for the production and processing of apples.

Growing organic herb seedlings as a discipline in its own right
The visit to the regional organic nursery shows how young herb plants are grown on behalf of Holderhof. From spring onwards, they are then planted outdoors on our herb cultivation areas in Ufhofen.
Organic Alpine herbs from Holderhof an export success
The export business has become an important pillar for Holderhof Produkte AG. One success factor is the special own-brand concept, which is also aimed at smaller buyers abroad.
A modern herb drying plant of our own
This summer, the newly built herb drying plant in Ufhofen went into operation. It produces up to 100 tonnes of dried herbs per year. These grow on organic cultivation areas that are practically within sight of the plant, which enables fast processing and drying.
